Why do you train each body part individually?
A golf swing has about 18 things that you need to do, but you can only focus on one thing at a time. Therefore, by focusing on each individual body part one at a time, it will be easier and quicker for you to learn the correct movements.
Do I need a golf club to do this programme?
Not for the first 83% of the programme, by which time your new swing will have been fully built and developed. You only need a club for the last 3 out of 18 lessons.
Is this an online golf tuition programme
There are 14 step by step tutorial lessons by Darren Close, a PGA teaching professional. The programme can be watched on any device, and most of the practise is done at home
Should I take golf lessons with a Pro while I am doing this programme?
Of course you should. This method is not to replace Professionals. There is nothing better than a lesson with a PGA Teaching Professional. If you do not have the time or the budget, then its the next best thing. Even if you are having lessons, the programme will speed up development as it is designed to be practised at home. The key to development is practise.......
I am left-handed. Is there a programme for left-handed golfers?
Not currently, although there there are plans to Produce one soon.
When do i move onto the next Lesson?
When you are happy that you have mastered the required movement patterns
Do I need to renew the 18M membership every year?
NO. Once registered you can use the programme indefinitely
How do I know if my movement patterns in each lesson are correct?
You upload via the "upload video" and then go to the Swing Studio and compare them to the Professionals, Darren Close. When you feel they are as close as you can get with the practise you are willing to do, you move on. The more you practise, the closer you will get.
Is there a money back Guarantee?
No. When the course is completed you will definitely have a better swing, as you only progress to the next phase when the movement pattern is correct and you have committed it to muscle memory. In addition, there is a free 7 day trial, so you can try before you buy..
Do i only need 5 minutes practise most days
Yes, but you can do more, The key to building your new swing is muscle memory. This can only be achieved through repetition (practise). 5 minutes effort most days is enough for the movement to become automatic, that is, done without having to think about it. Remember though, you must be consistent and do it most days. It is after all only 5 minutes of your life at home or in the office.
Can I repeat one or all Lessons, even though I have completed them?
Yes you can, the more you repeat them, the greater the muscle memory, and thus the more automatic your swing will become. Practise is the key to developing a good repeatable golf swing.
What format should my videos be uploaded in?
mp4, with 100mb file size per Upload.
