What Is 18M

It’s a ground-breaking new scientific way to learn a golf swing, aimed at golfers of all abilities.

You learn isolated movements, then you learn the swing in step-by-step incremental stages, each building on the pervious one.

What’s unique about this system, is you learn just one movement and one swing thought at a time.

There are 3 parts, with 16 short follow-along tutorial lessons by Darren Close, a PGA teaching professional.

Each lesson ( 2 to 6 minutes in length) has a goal which is measured, tested and analysed in the app’s swing studio.

Most of the follow along practise (86%) can be done at home.

The new 2.0 app, is the simplestquickestcheapest and most convenient way to develop your better golf swing.

Why 18M

Once completed, you will have a clearer understanding of :-

1 – Swing mechanics and fundamentals.

2 – When you and the club are in right positions.

3 – When you are swinging on the correct path (plane).

4 – The correct technique to compress and hit the golf ball straight.

5 – Understanding how you’ve hit a good shot, and why you’ve hit a poor one.

Structured learning: The step-by-step approach, with follow along lessons,  provides a clear roadmap for improvement.

Learn at your own pace: You can progress through the program at your own speed, repeating lessons as needed.

Convenience: You can learn and practice at home, making it flexible for busy schedules.

Lesson enhancement: Learning to swing first, before a lesson with a PGA teaching professional, will help you get more out of the lesson.

 18M Programme

There are 16 Lessons with 3 distinct bio mechanical learning parts: –

Part 1 – Fundamental Positions & Movement Patterns – 8 lessons isolate and teach you the correct positions and movement patterns for your hands, arms, shoulders, hips and legs (No Club).

Part 2 Swing Path & Coordination – 5 lessons teach you the correct swing motion on the right path (Club only).

Part 3Ball Compression & Clubface Control – 3 lessons help you learn the correct hand eye coordination and timing to compress the golf ball and consistently square the club at impact (Club & Ball).

Golf Foundation mini-series – 5 extra lessons cover the Grip, Stance, Wrist & Forearm Rotation, Key Swing Check Points, Golf Related Exercises.

Arm Isolation mini-series – 2 extra lessons teach you the isolated movement patters of the left and right arm.

A Shank – 1 extra lesson on how and why they occur, and how to fix them.

Ground-Breaking

Isolation: Legs & Hips, shoulders, arms. – Learning and focusing  on them in isolation, makes it easier to learn and remember the correct movements and positions.

Learn in stages: Developing a swing in incremental stages, makes it is easier to commit to muscle memory, as there is less to think about, and learn at any one time.

Feel the correct positions: It’s easier to understand what’s right and feel what’s wrong when you isolate movements.

See your swing: It’s easier to test and analyse the lesson goal and identify areas for improvement in your swing studio.  Seeing is believing!

Stand upright like a baseball player: The upright stance is a more natural one, making it easier to see and feel the correct swing path.

Practice a little each day: Short, regular sessions build muscle memory faster.

A better way: learning the movements first, then the swing path and finally hitting the ball, is a more logical, efficient, and easier way to learn a new golf swing.

How 18M Works

Your swing is built in stages through lessons by a PGA golf professional.

Each lesson (16) covers a different position and movement pattern.

Each one can be watched on any device, and has a clearly defined goal.

You learn and practise each one, mostly at home in front of a mirror, at your own pace.

When you think you’ve learnt the movement, you upload a video of your swing to the app’s swing studio, where you test and compare it to the lesson’s goal.

When you are satisfied with your results, you move onto the second part of the lesson, which is to commit it to muscle memory by repetition.

Each lesson is completed in linear order.  When the programme is finished, you will have a new better golf swing.

Group Learning

You can follow the programme on your own, with a training partner, or with other people in a group.

Uniquely you can share the learning experience with up to 4 other people.

With shared access to each others uploaded videos, you can comment, give feedback, help and motivate members within your group.  As a result the learning experience will be more fun and rewarding.
